Using clipping boxes

- [Instructor] The goal of this video is to learn how to place and manipulate clipping boxes. The clipping box tool will allow you to temporarily mask the data inside or outside of these parametric clipping boxes. Clipping boxes have multiple functions. They can be arrayed, used to create mesh models from the point clouds, or a variety of other useful functions. The clipping box tool is right up here at the top of the ribbon interface. So if I simply click on it what it's going to do is it's just going to drop a clipping box pretty much directly in the center of your screen at about this scale. Now let's just delete that over here. It creates its own folder and then its own clipping box icon here. So if I just delete that we're back to our original state and let's just navigate in with the Space + mouse and do it again. Then you can see it basically creates the same size clipping box but now we're at a different zoom so we're getting different data clipped inside of it. Now using…
