Targets best practice
- [Instructor] Care should be taken when choosing targets and placing them in the field. The targets should never be moved once placed until you're ready to move the scanner. A minimum of three targets must be common between the scans. Spheres require a minimum of 100 points to accurately extract the coordinates of the sphere center. More targets should be set than needed. There's always a possibility that one target may be covered up by something unexpected or possibly even fall and break.
