Setting your settings/options menu
- [Instructor] In this video we're going to explain the options menu in detail, as well as the settings. The settings in this menu will be the foundation for preparing FARO SCENE to import and export data in the correct coordinates system, setting default project directories, 3D navigation, and setting parameters with other functionality. In the ribbon interface at the top right we have the Settings icon, and this is where we're going to set our user interface to behave as we wish it to behave while we're processing data. In the General, Import, Processing, and all these other tabs here, they all have different things that we can set. And we'll cover how to set those in the classic interface in a little bit. So here we are, we have the ability to set the language. In the units dropdown, all the settings are set to meters, and I recommend keeping that because most scanners are going to default their units to meters.
