- [Instructor] Once Scene has opened, our first step will be to create a new project. In the upper left, you'll see we have our project, we have Import Settings, Processing, Registration, Explore, and Export. So this works just like in real life. We start with our project, we import the information, and we process it, all the way out to exporting it downstream to other pieces of software. Create Project is our first button, and we want to set our project location. Clicking the ellipses, we'll navigate to the desktop and our exercise files. And we'll make this exercise file folder our project location. Now, one little tricky thing about FARO Scene is that you can't have spaces in your project name, so we will call this Course, and then click Create. Now the project has been created, we can see that, currently, we haven't imported any scans, and we have the last modified date of our project. We can add images to help locate this.
