Field process
- [Instructor] Using the targeted method for registration, we'll need to make sure we have at least three common points between the scan, so let's take a look at one of these scans and see how we place the spheres. I'll double-click number seven, and I'll click and drag and zoom out. Here we can see three spheres placed in the middle of this aisle. Notice the moped there, so we have a frame of reference. I'm going to now skip over to scan number eight and let's see if these are in the same orientation. All right, there we go. There's the moped, and there's the three spheres. So this process is just repeated over and over again until you've gone the full distance that you need, or that you make it all the way around the building and double back on yourself. This process is pretty simple, but it does take a lot of practice to get right in the field, and also taking into account safety factors and different obstructions.
