Cloud-to-cloud registration

- [Instructor] Cloud-to-cloud registration works based off of the overlap from one scan to another. FARO Scene prefers to have about 50% overlap to have a successful registration, but actually does quite well with very little information. Let's look at how much overlap we have in this registration. I'll double-click the ScanManager, and go to Scan Point Tensions. You'll see here that our least amount of overlap that we have is over 50% still, and the most is 86%. If we found that these maybe weren't high enough, we could start to group these together in different ways to get better results. Let's look at how we build different clusters. So a cluster is simply a group of scans. To create a cluster, we can click on any other cluster by right-clicking New Cluster. Then we can give this a name. This would be useful if you needed to break things out based on floor, or areas, or grids. Then we can simply drag scans into there. So, we'll take number three, and number five, for example. And…
