The sharing model's impact on reports - Salesforce Tutorial

- [Instructor] Okay, so let's talk about the sharing model and its impact on reports. So I'm in a summary report right now, and this is for opportunities. And I wanted to show that I've got five opportunities here that are owned by myself, Mike Wheeler. And so, if I were to run this report in its final formatting, you see the five records here. And so, I have set the sharing settings on the opportunity object My Org to private. And so, I want to show the impact of reports based on the sharing model so that if I log in as Jim Doe, and since I own all of these opportunities and I'm higher up in the role hierarchy than he is, he should not be able to see these opportunities. So I'm going to log in as Jim by going to his user detail and clicking Login. And so, now I'm going to go to that same report that I was on earlier. So now you notice in this Opportunity Pipeline report that I was on, when I was logged in as myself, that Jim cannot see any of these opportunities. And that's because…
