- [Instructor] If you are already using Salesforce, you probably realize there are many different Salesforce editions and each one has different features. Salesforce is also highly customizable, so your view of Salesforce may be slightly different than the one you see on the screen. I will do my best to address this in the course and will let you know which features are available in all editions and which may require additional contracts or pricing increases. We will also be viewing Salesforce in the classic interface and not in the new Lightning Experience, which looks like this.
Also, keep in mind that some social platforms like LinkedIn also vary based on the subscription level. Finally, not every company will have a comprehensive approach to social selling. Your company may have a holistic approach or may just allow each salesperson to navigate social on your own. The most important thing to know about social selling is that it's a way to join the conversation about your product or service. And just like any conversation, you don't need to pitch your services or talk about your products all the time.
