- [Instructor] Salesforce is all about data, but data is only useful if it's accurate. One of the biggest mistakes I often see in Salesforce is people neglecting to update their leads or opportunities and forgetting to do things like update close dates, deal changes, or any missing information. All of these details are essential, not only for you, but for your managers and the execs at your company so that they can do accurate forecasts. So, what I highly recommend is to schedule a little bit of time each week to do a leads and opportunities review. So, your company may not use leads and in that case, you have a little less work, but for example, at one company I worked for, we needed to have all the opportunities updated by Friday at noon, so let's just check out how to do that and how to easily update them.
