- [Instructor] Sales managers often want to view each sales rep's activity and progress in a dashboard as well as see how the team is doing as a whole. In order to create a dashboard, we first need to create a report. A dashboard is just a visual representation of a group of reports so anything that you want to add to your dashboard needs to be a report first. So let's create a report for our team and then view that in a dashboard. So for this report, I want to see what all of my sales reps are selling individually and what they've closed. Now, it's nice because Sales Force has already created a sales by rep report, so let's take a look at this report and what it includes. So this has some opportunities that were closed in 2016, I'm going to filter this, so we only see the current year's opportunities. Now I'm going to run this report and this looks great, this has my three sales reps and it has all of my opportunities from 2017. So let's save this, and I can put more information if…
