- [Instructor] Once you have Opportunities set up in Salesforce, you can start using the Forecast area. Let's see how one of reps is doing in reaching her revenue goals. Let's take a look at this account here and navigate to the Forecasts tab. You'll I have some information already here. And if I scroll down to the bottom, I can show a bit more detail. So you'll see this shows my last four quarters which can easily be changed. And I can look at it starting a quarter before. And hit Save. And whatever area is highlighted here, is shown below. So if I go up to the total, I'll see all of the details down here. Now you'll see there are several different columns here. There's Closed opportunities, Committed, Best Case and Pipeline. Salesforce has taken into consideration that sometimes manual adjustments need to be made. So a manager or an individual salesperson can manually adjust these numbers as needed.
