- [Instructor] When I worked as a sales manager and had to teach new salespeople about sales and using Salesforce, there was one main point I would always mention, following up with customers. If you work om sales, then you know that the follow-up is where the money is. If you don't follow up, you're leaving 80% or more of your money on the table. But follow-up requires being organized and remembering what you talked about in the first place. This is probably the easiest and most useful thing that Salesforce does. In fact, if you only use this one feature in Salesforce, I think its worth it. So, let's just look at a few scenarios. Let's say our customer, Pyramid Energy Generators, just told us they are making budget decisions in December of this year, but right now it's March. So, I want to schedule a follow-up so I remember to talk to them in December because that's quite a few months away. So, I'm going to click into this Opportunity and I'm just going to log a task for myself…
