- [Narrator] And now we're going to talk about logging.…And logging is the idea of debugging,…but I want to set up some very specific information…that I want to collect, and I would like to have…it run over a period of time.…That could be for 20 minutes, it could be for an hour,…or it could be for a day.…I would typically use this when I have some user…that is having errors.…That they're complaining that they run the code,…under certain circumstances they get an error.…And I'd like to be able to catch what's happening…and see if I can figure out what's going wrong.…
So, the logging debug logs looks something like this,…where you've got a user trace flags, so you set up…what you want to trace, and then you actually have…the debug logs of what's actually happening.…You can then view the log, or download it,…and then you can go through it.…Now, this a very short log.…When we're setting this up, we're going to go over…to Salesforce, we're going to through this process…of setting it up.…The amount of information you collect depends on…
