- [Instructor] In this video,…we're going to talk about how to navigate Salesforce,…do some basic searches,…and customize our home page view.…So, you'll see here on the top there's a search bar…so let's start with search.…You can type in the name of a company,…the name of an opportunity,…the name of a lead,…and it's nice because Salesforce will always list…your most recent items.…This is really helpful because as a salesperson,…it's very frequent that you're going to deal with…one or two or a handful of accounts…for a very short amount of time.…
So, I can type in anything here…and it will type it in there…and I'll be able to search quickly so this is great.…Now, let's go back and look at our home page…and you'll see here the way I have it set up…I show my quarterly performance,…I have some account and industry news and some tasks.…One thing I do want to show you…is that this shows me the time of day…and I could refresh this to see it more recently…or to see a more updated view so that's really helpful.…And now, I might not want to look at this specific view…
