- The great thing about using Salesforce CPQ…is that should never have to manually calculate pricing.…CPQ does that based on your product selection…and your business rules.…Pricing is calculated by your price book…and your products.…So let's take a look at that now.…Now I'm going to navigate to the Opportunities section,…right here.…And I'm going to select All Opportunities because…I'm going to create a brand new quote.…So let's go down to Grand Hotels Emergency Generators.…
And I'm going to scroll down to the Quotes area here,…and select New Quote.…I need an expiration date here,…so I'm going to select a date,…and I'm going to name my quote.…And I'm going to save it.…Now it tells me that the quote was created…if I scroll down here to the Quotes area,…I can click on it and see the details.…This is gives me and overall summary of the quote,…but this quote does not have anything in it yet.…You could see that because the grand total shows zero.…
And there are zero line items, so for me to add products,…I need to navigate the Add Products button.…
