- Okay, so now we're going to talk about account and contact ownership, and then as well visibility considerations, and I'm on the role hierarchy, here. I went to setup and searched for the term, role, and pulled up the roles link, and I've expanded all by clicking the expand all link here to show the different roles in my role hierarchy, and then previously, we had a user named John Doe that we put in a profile of Director of Channel Sales, and so it's this role right here. If you click on assign, you can see that John Doe is assigned to that particular role, and so if I go back to my role hierarchy, I'm going to say don't show this page again and click set up roles, and so for the CEO role in the role hierarchy, this is the highest up, and everything else is intended to roll up to those higher than them in the role hierarchy, and you probably remember studying some roles and how that affects the visibility and edit-ability of records, as far as what records you can actually see, and…
