Learn about campaigns, which track marketing efforts within Salesforce.
- [Narrator] Campaigns are a great tool for tracking sales and marketing initiatives. A campaign is a project or activity that tracks the team's efforts, This could be a trade show, an email or a direct mail campaign. Campaigns within Salesforce allow teams to manage and maintain focus on projects, building prospects and generating brand awareness. A campaign organizes a list of leads and contacts and results, into a landing page, to track responses and the campaign success.
Sales teams use campaigns to track their sales initiatives. Let's check out campaigns. We'll need to be signed in and we'll be starting from the home tab. Then let's click on the app finder here on the top left and we'll click on campaigns. Now, to setup a new campaign let's click on new, over here on the top right. Let's head back to the campaign, we'll go ahead and select it again and now we'll add some contacts.
