- [Narrator] Your Sales Navigator license provides you with access to companies in countries all over the world. But how do you sort through all of those organizations and target just the accounts that will make the most impact to you and your business? Through efficient search. Let's learn how to maximize LinkedIn Sales Navigator search tools so we can find accounts. Now, when it comes to search, we have a couple of options. If you know the name of the account that you are looking for, you can type that into the search bar and be provided with a list of matches.
You will see it will start with leads but if we scroll down, we can see the name of the company that I'm looking for and it takes me to the account page. Now, over on the right, you will see the Save button. I want to encourage you to save your target accounts. We know that day to day business life can be extremely hectic. There's information coming at you from all angles. Saving accounts helps you to filter through the noise, receive timely information on companies that mean the most to you by way of your Sales Navigator News Feed.
But what if you don't know the name of the company that you're looking for? Maybe you're looking to build a list of prospect accounts. How do you go about finding those in Sales Navigator? For that, we're going to use Advanced Search. So I am going to start to search within my territory, so focusing on Toronto, go Canada, as well as New York. I am working internationally, so Dublin, as well as Dubai.
So, going to start off with those as locations. Then I want to go to Industries. So financial services noted there for me, as well as accounting, and then banking. Those are my areas of focus. Company headcount is going to be the next one I select. So I'm looking to work with organizations that have between 500 and 10,000 employees, nothing higher. So I can start with these filters, hit Search, and now I'm going to be provided with my 208 account results all within my territory.
So from here, I've got my search results. I can tailor my results even further using the filters on the left, or I have the option to learn more about the companies by leveraging the Sales Spotlights at the top of the screen. It's important for me to be updated when there are leadership changes because that's going to tell me some info on the state of the business, but also if there's going to be potential for me to sell into somebody who's been hired as a change agent.
Last thing that we want to look at here on this page, remember we want to save our accounts. So, we can save them all, we do it one by one and then the green bar means that it's saved or we can leverage the Select All button and this will allow me to save 25 accounts at a time. So 25 per page. Much easier way for me to scale, saving these accounts that mean so much to me. Sales Navigator provides you with the ability to conduct a targeted search if you know the name of the account you're looking for.
You can also use the Advanced Search functionality to identify new accounts and then leverage search filters and Spotlights to help tailor your results even more finely. Sales Navigator's powerful search algorithm will help you find the accounts you need to succeed.
