- [Instructor] Like I said in the intro, this course is a deep dive into scalable vector graphics, more commonly known as SVG. We're going to take SVGs, pick them apart at the seams, and figure out how they work on an element level before we put them back together again. This will give you an in-depth understanding of how SVGs work, and prepare you for when you want to do more advanced things with SVGs like animate SVG elements or interact with them using Javascript. This course starts from the ground-up, covering how SVGs are built and how they work, giving you the tools to create SVG either in a design application or by hand, and making them accessible, manageable, and ready to be added to a project. This course is not about how to use SVGs in production sites. For that, I have a whole other course called Creating Web Icons with SVG. That course covers the full production cycle from finished SVG, through optimization and usage, all the way to live site. So if you want to understand SVG on an element level, keep watching.
