- [Narrator] We're going to cover the essentials of working with SQL Server and creating databases in this course, but I don't expect that you'll have any prior database experience. I'll start with some foundational concepts and build out from there. By the end of this course, you should feel comfortable working with SQL Server and Management Studio application to create simple databases and work with data tables. To get the most out of this course, you should come prepared with a working knowledge of the Windows operating system, and know how to install programs and manage files. It would also be beneficial if you put some time into identifying your own data storage needs, so that you can actively think about how to apply the course's lessons to your own unique situation.
