What you should know
- [Instructor] In order to get the most out of this course, you should have a little familiarity with SQL Server. My expectation is that you're able to install a local copy of the SQL Server Database Engine, restore a couple of sample databases from a backup using SQL Server Management Studio, and are able to create databases on the server. If you know a little bit about writing Transact-SQL SELECT statements, then that'll be helpful as well. If you need a quick introduction, or feel like you might want a refresher on some of these topics, then a great place to start is with my course, Learning SQL Server 2019. It's a short course at just over an hour long, and will give you everything that you need to make the most of your time here learning integration services.
