What you should know
To get the most of this course, you should have a little background knowledge. Certainly, a basic understanding of databases is required. If you feel you need that introductory knowledge, you can view Foundations of Programming: Databases, by Simon Allardice, here, on lynda.com. You will also need to have some familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and some knowledge of the T-SQL language, things like SELECT statements and views.
