- [Instructor] In order to get the most from this course, there's a few things you should know going in. No experience with SQL Server is necessary. I'm going to teach you everything you need to know about SQL Server, so even if you've never touched the product, that's fine. It would be good, however, for you to have some basic experience with databases, maybe an Oracle database or an Access database. If you'd like to gain that knowledge, here in our library, we have Foundations of Programming: Databases with Simon Allardice. Would also be good if you knew a little bit about SQL, or the S-Q-L programming language.
We also have a course on that here in the library. It's called SQL Essential Training for Databases with Bill Weinman.
