Join Martin Guidry for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before starting, part of SQL Server 2014 Essential Training.
- I'd like to take a minute to talk about what you should know before taking this course. This is our introductory course to SQL Server so therefore, no experience with SQL Server is necessary, however, it might be a good idea to be familiar with databases in general. If you need some help with that we have a course here on lynda.com, Foundations of Programming: Databases, with Simon Allardice. It would also be helpful to have a basic working knowledge of SQL.
A good resource for that is SQL Essential Training for Databases, with Bill Weinman, also here on lynda.com.
