- [Instructor] Now that we've got SQL Server installed, you might want to have a sample database so that you can practice working on account setups or different configurations for a database on your actual SQL Server instance. There are a number of different sample databases available. Microsoft makes the Adventure Works 2014 Sample Database available as well. Keep an eye on these pages because there will be new databases released periodically as they change the components. Here I've actually gone to the database product samples page on the SQL Server codeplex site. And what we're going to do is search for the Adventure Works 2014 Sample Database backup. You'll notice that there are other available downloads here for the OLTP scripts or the data warehouse scripts. We're just going to focus on the backup one for the time being. Part of the reason being because the scripted versions require you to actually go in and make some changes to the scripts for your source and destination…
