- [Guide] We just built a parameterized report called Sales Summary that displays some monthly sales information at Wideworld Importers. Now I want to hook in another report to it that'll feed the parameter value called "transaction year". In the portal, I'll click back over here to the "home" tab and go to the "new" button, and choose "paginated report". Once again, we're going to use the tabler matrix-wizard, I'll create a new data set, and press "next". We'll choose the Wideworld Importers' shared data-source, and press "next". And that'll bring us to our design and query-window. The information that I want is in the sales-schema and it's in a table called "orders". The field that I'm looking for is called "order-date". We'll place a check-mark here, and that'll add it over to the selective fields pane. Now if I run this query, it'll pull all the dates that are present in the order's table.
