Overview of Query Store

- [Instructor] In this section, we're going to talk about query store. Query store is a new feature in Sequel Server 2016. It really provides a user interface into some things that were going on behind the scenes in other versions of Sequel Server, as well as provide some new functionality. So in demo database 02, I'm going to right click, go to properties. In the interface to select a page, I'll go all the way down to the bottom, query store. The operational mode right now is turned off, and I can turn that either to read only, which would analyze only the read queries. Or I'll do read write, which will analyze both queries that read data, and queries that write data. Once I've select an operational mode, all the other options become active of how often to collect statistics, what's the maximum size of data we'll collect, things like that. I'll keep the defaults for all of those, and hit okay at the bottom. And now when I open up demoDB02, right click and go to refresh. Underneath…
