Migrate a data warehouse to Azure

- [Instructor] Once again, I'm going to select the Adventureworks DW2017 database and this time I'll choose the option here to migrate selected. Then I can select what tables I want to migrate or click the checkbox at the top of the list to select everything. Then I'll press the migrate schema button. Then I'll create the script that'll build the structure of the database, create all of the tables, and the schemas that are required. Notice that every tale is getting created with a clustered Columnstore index and the distribution is being set for parallel processing across multiple modes. You can either copy the script to your clipboard with this button here, save it to a file, or run it right in Azure. I'll go ahead and click the run script button. That'll allow me to log in to my Azure database, but before I do I just want to make sure that it's finished being deployed. Let's switch back over to the portal. Looks like…
