- In this course, we'll be using a sample database from Microsoft called, AdventureWorks. And now I'm going to help you install the AdventureWorks database. You'll wanna go to your favorite search engine, and search for AdventureWorks 2014. In the results, I'm gonna go ahead and click on the top one, that is from blogs.msdn.com. The AdventureWorks database is usually available in a variety of locations over the Internet, so, you can find at a number of different places. And I'll scroll down on this one, to where it has a link for, "Download "your copies of SQL server 2014 AdventureWorks," looks like it took me to the CodePlex.com website where there is an option to download a few different versions of AdventureWorks. I want the top one here, AdventureWorks 2014 full database backup, so that means I'm going to download a file that contains a backup, and we'll have to restore that backup.
