Installing SQL Server 2012 trial edition

Now lets look at installing SQL Server 2012. Here, I've opened up the folder where the file was downloaded. Double-clicking on it takes me to a directory that has, amongst other options, setup. I am interested in the setup option. I'll double-click on that. In the options to the left, I see one for installation. I'll click on that. And now, here, on the right, I'm presented with four options. I'm interested in the one at the top, a new SQL Server stand-alone installation. The installation wizard ran a check for support rules. It ran nine tests. I passed all of them. So, I'll click OK. It looks like the installation wizard has found an update it would like me to install. I'll go ahead and do that now, by clicking Next. So, the wizard has, again, run some tests to make sure my machine is capable of handling SQL Server 2012. It ran seven tests, I passed all of them. I'll click Next.
