- [Narrator] Formatting charts is a little bit trickier than formatting tables because so many of the options are only available through the property pages. And each element of the report, the title, the x and y-axis labels, the values, data bars, the background grid, all of these elements have their own properties. And there's no single location where you can go to change everything about the design. With that said, I would like to make some changes to this chart. First, I need to give it a title. Then I want to adjust the display of the values on the left. These numbers are in millions and it's a little bit hard to read with all the zeros. The numbers representing the months along the bottom are only showing even numbers. I'd like to see every number. Next, I want to show you how to change the colors that are applied to the columns.
