To complete the exercises for this course, you'll need access to Microsoft SQL Server 2012 software. In my demonstrations, I'm going to be running the Enterprise edition, but it may not be necessary for you to run Enterprise edition to do many of the exercises. The majority of the exercises, we'll use the basic database engine. And SQL Server Integration Services, or SSIS. If you have access to those two components, you'll certainly be able to complete the majority of the course. At the very end of the course, we're going to touch a little bit on things like Data Quality Services, which is not available in all versions of Microsoft SQL Server. In just a second I'm going to show you how to get a trial version of Enterprise edition and we will walk through some steps on installing that.
