to the immigration services service in management studio as an administrator, you're going to find two top level folders. One for running packages and one for stored packages. Running packages is exactly that, SSIS packages that are currently running. This folder is probably going to be empty on your system as it is on mine. The other one, stored packages, if I expand that we'll see we have two sub folders, one for file system and one for MSDB. These are the different locations where we can save SSIS packages. Either on the computer's file system or in the MSDB database. You won't have anything on the file system right now. If I click plus button you'll notice that it disappears, but if I expand MSDB we can expand the maintenance plans, which is currently empty and we have data collector which currently has a couple of active packages.
