- [Instructor] Before you can deploy an Integration Services project to a SQL Server instance, you need to create an SSIS catalog database. The process is going to start in Management Studio. I'm currently connected to my primary SQL server and since it's this one here at the very top of the object explorer window, this is the default instance for my machine. After adding integration services as a shared feature, like we did way back at the beginning of this course, you should now have a folder called Integration Services Catalogs. This folder is going to be empty by default. In order to create a new catalog, just right-click on it and choose Create Catalog. That'll start up the Catalog Creation Wizard. I'm going to check this box here to enable the common language runtime integration. Now this also needs to be enabled on your SQL server instance.
