Data bars

- Data bars are another visualization option you can incorporate into your data tables. They are similar to the gauge, but even simpler visually. Essentially they act like the individual columns of the chart, but pulled out and laid down horizontally and placed right in line with the data. Let's take a look by adding one to the sales summary by month report to visualize the tax collected values. In the portal, I'll switch back in to the homepage and we'll find the sales summary report, and I'll open it up in the report builder. Then I need to add another table column. So go ahead and select the table. I'm going to right click on the cell here, the selection box above the tax collected column, and choose insert column to the right. That will move everything else over. We might need to rearrange things a little bit so everything fits. Let's go ahead and make these a little bit narrower, and I might need to move the chart over.
