- [Instructor] In this section, we're going to talk about backing up a SQL database to the Microsoft Azure Cloud. To do this, we'll need a storage account and a container in that storage account on Azure. So here in the main Azure interface, off to left at the bottom, I'll click More services then I'll filter by storage and click on Storage Accounts. In the upper left, I'll click on the Add button. First, I'll need to give the storage account a name and remember at Azure, this has to be all lower case. I'll go with sqldemostorage then for Account kind, I need to change that from General purpose to Blob storage. And for Resource group, I'd like to use an existing resource group, so I'll select that and for everything else, I'm going to leave the default. At the bottom, I'll click Create. I'll get a pop-up in the upper right saying "Deployment started." So I'll wait a minute while that deployment runs and there we get a message saying "Deployment succeeded."
