- [Instructor] As you develop your reports, you're going to add a number of different objects to the layout. Tables, text boxes, images, charts, and more. In order to make sure that everything is lined up, you're going to turn to the options in the align menu. The options only show up when you have two or more objects selected. So let's insert a couple of boxes or rectangles so we have something to play with. I'll just click and drag out a rectangle, and then I'll come back up to the insert menu, choose rectangle again, and draw out another one. Then I'll click and drag a box around both of those to select them. The alignment options can be found on the Home tab of the ribbon over on the far right in a small menu called Align. And here we have a number of different options for aligning these two objects together. If I say align top for instance, the second box will move up to line up with the top of the first box.
