From the course: Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Clustering and Association

Welcome

- [Keith] I'm Keith McCormick, and I'm an active consultant, conference speaker, and book author. We'll review several of the most common algorithms for performing cluster analysis. Hierarchical, k-means, BIRCH, and self-organizing maps. We'll discuss anomaly detection, and how to use the same algorithms to do it, but also specialized algorithms for anomaly detection. We'll discuss association roles and sequence analysis. We'll be doing software demonstrations throughout, but our focus will be the concepts and interpretation, not the point-and-click. So there'll be a lot of running a model, taking a look, making improvements, and then running it again. There's a lot to learn, let's get started.
