- [Instructor] Sometimes you just need a little bit of help, and SPSS can be there to give you that extra helping hand. It turns out that one of the most time-consuming and often confusing parts of working with data is getting the data ready, is the data preparation, or data-wrangling step. And SPSS over the last few years has developed some impressive abilities for this, including a version of automated data preparation. I want to show you how this works by going to Transform and then Prepare Data for Modeling. Now we have three choices here, Interactive, Automatic, and Backtransform. I'm going to use the Interactive because that let's me show you each step. Automatic just does it all without talking to you, and Backtransform is for when you're trying to get back to what you had previously. But let's do Interactive right here.
