Modifying Chart Builder visualizations
- [Instructor] The Chart Builder in SPSS is a great way to create graphs. It's flexible, it's powerful, and I want to show you how you can modify some of the charts after you make them to get them presentation-ready. Now, I'm going to do this using the demo.sav DataSet, with one important thing. I came to the variable ed for education, and I modified that, so instead of being the scale variable, which assumes it's a continuous interval or ratio-level variable, and I changed it to Ordinal, that's appropriate, and you can do that by just double-clicking on here and then coming over to the side and switching to Ordinal, that's what you need. But what I'm going to do, then, is I'm going to come back to Graphs and go to Chart Builder, and it asks if I have things defined correctly, and I'm going to start by creating a boxplot.
