Hierarchical regression: Setting up the analysis

- [Instructor] In this case study, we're going to be performing a hierarchical regression. What makes it distinct is we need a theory that allows us to sequence the variables in a particular way. We're going to be using the MWBank case study data, however, we're gonna use an example of the data file that has incorporated dummy codes and interaction terms that were created during a previous step. The file is called MWBank with Dummy Codes and Interaction Terms. Okay, here we are in the data file, and we have the original MWBank data, but in addition to that, we have a series of dummy coded variables clerical_yn, ot_yn, and so on. And then on the right-hand side, we have educ_cen and ed_sex. So let's go into the regression menu and start setting up our analysis. We're gonna go to Analyze, Regression, Linear. And in order to do this in a hierarchical style, we're gonna be using the blocks or steps, which means that we're gonna be using the Next button once we start to populate this. So…
