- [Instructor] There are many topics that fall under multiple regression. So it's hard to pick one that's the most important. But, variable interactions is a candidate for that number one slot. When you detect a variable interaction, if often becomes the most interesting part of your analysis. So, let's take a close look. I've reverted back to the original MW Bank data set and now let's go up to chart builder. And, I'm going to go ahead and do a scatter plot. I'm going to do a colored scatter. And I'm going to make my dependent variable beginning salary. I'm going to make my X axis education level. And a terribly important step here, I have to right click on education level and declare it as a scale. Because, if I call it an ordinal, which is a fair description of education value, but if I call it an ordinal, chart builder will not build a scatter plot, it will do a different type of plot.
