Creating regression variable plots

- [Instructor] An interesting specialized form of graphic that is available in some editions of SPSS is what's called the regression variables plot. And it's right here if you have it in your edition. I'm going to click on that one. And then the regressions variable plot is a way of looking at the associations of variables that you might use in a regression model, and what's neat about it is you pick the vertical axis variables; that's the outcome variables; the y axis, that's usually the thing that you're trying to predict; and the horizontal axis, the ones you want to go across the bottom. And what this will do is it will look at every possible combination of those plots, and it will adapt it to the level of measurement of each one. So, let's do this: Let's take, for instance, something like household income, and we'll make that an outcome that we're trying to predict. And maybe job satisfaction. By the way, you can…
