I'll go ahead and recommend two of my favorite websites now, though. I really love Tom Khabaza'a Nine Laws of Data Mining. It's only three or four pages, lots of information, highly recommended. Also, Gregory Piatetsky's kdnuggets.com has really become a go to location for almost all of us that do this work. Conferences, new book releases, what have you, it's all found there, so again, highly recommended. Finally, there's just a ton of books on the subject, but if you've grown interested in SPSS, the software aspect of things, I've written or co-authored three books on the subject.
