- [Instructor] Let's see CHAID in action. We're going to be building CHAID interactively, meaning that we're going to build it step by step, branch by branch. To begin, open the source and type node stream. Now if we were actually building a final model now, it would be very important to have a partition node, but we're just doing this to understand how CHAID works, so we won't need a partition node at the moment. We're going to grab the CHAID modeling node, hook it up to the data, and we're going to change two important settings. The first setting that we're going to change is we're going to tell it that we want to launch an interactive session. Also, we're going to take the overfit prevention setting and drop it all the way to zero. That's an important setting. It naturally helps prevent overfitting, but we're only exploring how CHAID works at the moment. We're not really attempting to build a tree. I'm going to go ahead and run that.
