- [David] With all the demands that come from engineering and designing in a global marketplace, it requires us to be able to create complex designs from anywhere. When visiting vendors or new clients, it's often difficult to bring the power of SOLIDWORKS with you in your pocket. But now with SOLIDWORKS xDesign, we can bring all of our designs and engineering documentation with us by just having access to an internet browser. Like its predecessor SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS xDesign is a CAD platform that gives you the ability to create complex designs but now adds the benefit of giving you access to your files all around the world and the ability to collaborate in real time with other designers. My name is David Antanavige, CSWE and winner of the SOLIDWORKS xDesign Challenges. I've been working in CAD for 15 years, and this new product is extremely exciting.
