Workflows for mesh BREP bodies
- [Instructor] When working in mesh files, we have a few specific workflows that we can use to get from a mesh file to a solid piece of geometry that we can use in SolidWorks. If we drop down real quick to the SolidWorks help in regards to these workflows, they give you a few different layouts and kind of step through what the process is. The overarching theme is your going to import in your mesh files first, and then you're going to convert them into mesh bodies. If you're starting with a SolidWorks BREP body, you're going to convert it to a graphics body, make your modifications, and then convert it to your mesh as the last step because once it's a mesh, you're not going to be able to manipulate it anymore whereas the other ones kind of work the other way. So let's go ahead and open up an stl file that I've prepared. So in the filter search down here, I'm going to go ahead and click on mesh files.
