From the course: Learning SOLIDWORKS Electrical
What you should know
- [Instructor] There are no major prerequisites for this course as this is an introductory course. However, a general understanding of computers and the Windows operating system may be beneficial. Having a basic understanding of electrical engineering and design or maybe a background in electrical could also be beneficial. In order to open and use the exercise files, of course we'll need the SOLIDWORKS Electrical software. However, additional SOLIDWORKS knowledge is not required as SOLIDWORKS Electrical is its own separate and unique product. SOLIDWORKS Electrical is generally designed for electrical engineering and design teams but can also be very useful for electro-mechanical teams or anyone else within the project management environment.
