Using equal curvature

Using equal curvature

- In this week's tip, I'm going to be showing you how to use the equal curvature relationship. To do that, we need to do a little bit of preparation. So, right over here, you can see I have a surface loft, and that's created from a couple different features here. So I have a, like an oval shape here, or a obround, and then I've got a circle, and I've created a lofted feature there which is a surface. Now, if I want to continue on with this shape with another loft, you might want to create some guide curves to define that shape. And you probably want that curvature to be the same as your existing surface, and you can do that by adding a couple of relationships. The first thing I need to do is I need to take this point right here. I need to attach it over here. So I'm going to choose this edge here, hold down control, and choose that point. Now, as soon as I do that, I get this pierce relationship right over there so I can pierce that together. All right, now what I like to do is add…
