- [Instructor] In this example we're going to be running the Symmetry Check tool. To be able to do that we need to be able to separate our model in two. And you see here I've created a plane directly in the center of my part. Now this part looks fairly symmetric but I do notice they are a few things that are not symmetric. That's why we're going to be running the Symmetry Check to see really what those things are. A lot of times if you are working on a design and you want to make sure it's symmetrical, you're going to want to just run this check just in case something happened in your design. Especially if you have a more complicated design and make sure you're symmetric. If not, it's going to point out those things for us. Go ahead and click on Symmetry Check right up here.
